March 2008

The projects at home are finished so we took off for Florida. Our travels brought us through four state capitals.

We stopped in Illinois with the Silly Sischo’s. What fun to catch up on events in our families. We also did some genealogy and found another grave stone in the Rale family at Greehill Cemetery in Sullivan, IL. It is very pleasant to drive thru Amish farm country to arrive in Sullivan.
After leaving the Sischo’s we had two long days of travel to reach Jacksonville. Our weekend was spent with cousin Betty Lee. Larry showed his tricks to her grandson and neighbors. Animations are such fun to watch. We had a great time at her church’s Cuba Dinner and learned about their mission trips to their sister church. We enjoyed the Palm Sunday services and joined her at her Sunday school class too.
Now we are in Orlando visiting cousin Tom. We are basking in the warmth of 80 degree temps. We heard that MN got snow yesterday.
