Larry has been a busy beaver. Cut, Saw, Glue, Sand, Varnish, etc.
We also researched and completed a small wall with a color wash treatment.
Light beige, Apple Crisp (darker brown) and Paprika (dark red) with glaze and rag finish. Doesn't that sound impressive? We are happy with the result. The colors don't come out in the picture, but in person, it is nice. He is ready to hang the upper cupboard which he constructed but he needs more strong muscles. We will have to wait till tonight or tomorrow for help. He also has to figure out where the studs are and predrill holes, but the wall should dry first.
We celebrated JP's 17th birthday last week. Time really flies by. He is driving, attending classes at the local Technical college two evenings a week and is working on his Eagle Scout project. His brother, Mark, is starting to formulate his Eagle Scout project too. All of the cousins (grandchildren) gathered to celebrate his birthday, so we got a photo of the bunch. With all those boys, it is a noisy group.
