When we got to western Washington, the sun was out and Mt. Rainier was in its glory. Larry drove out to the countryside to get a good picture of the mountain. Marlys and Ione did family history while we were visiting. Ione also drove us up into the mountains on a small road. It was beautiful. We were treated to lunch by Ione's son, David. It was interesting to see the new showroom/warehouse his company is remodeling. The rain and clouds came in so that we never did see Mt. Rainier again. All too soon we were on our way north toward Bellingham.
