Friday night was a special time in Lin Bien. They served a free supper and at least 60 people were there besides the team and hosts. There was Chinese food and kid-friendly French fries and chicken nuggets. Also, they had delicious pineapple and other fruit. Marlys opted for the kid-friendly food, of course. The dessert was flavored ice!
The children from English camp performed "O Happy Day" for their families. The team from Kung Ho performed a drama about Christ overcoming the sins of the world. Pastor Wu form Kung Ho preached and more than 10 people were prayed for. There was a lot of joy in that place. The leaders of the church were very encouraged and blessed by the evening.
Friday night was also the opening of the hotel we lived in. Special flowers were delivered and they had a catered dinner in the courtyard. It was a lovely place to stay.
