Kung Ho English Camp

This is our team at Kung Ho English Camp. Missing are pictures of the family from Washington DC who have planned this week and are doing the major story telling. Bob is from Covenant Village in Northbrook, IL. Cole is from Idaho. The rest of us are from Buffalo (BCC). About 120 students are attending classes each morning. They start at 3 years and go to to 6th grade. We have a rotation of four groups.
Marlys has been leading music with Cole. He plays the guitar on some of the songs. It has been a challenge to keep the kids engaged for 40 minutes. We have played a few games and had a few stories besides the music.
Larry has been leading games with George (from Washington, DC.) The room is fairly small and the groups are big, so it is a space challenge. Laura has worked with Bob to do cooking lessons each day. They have two groups at a time. It is hard to manage that many kids at a time, but they said that today (Thursday) was the best day yet! They served pancakes. The kids tasted the ingredients separately and then tasted the final results of that combination. Yesterday they boiled eggs (talking about anger as the water boiled). Then they dyed the eggs red (the blood of Christ). Finally they peeled off the shell to show that Jesus takes away our sin. Very creative I'd say.
